Trustbend Packers & Movers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations. Detailed Job Description:

• Journal Entries: Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
• Invoicing: Issue invoices and manage timely payment processing.
• Reconciliations: Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations, including bank accounts.
• Financial Statements: Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports, adhering to legal and company accounting guidelines.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to support financial transparency and decision-making.
• Month/Year-End Closings: Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Daily Accounting Tasks: Support other day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring smooth workflow within the department.
• HR and Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and other HR-related financial tasks.
• Petty Cash Management: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including petty cash management.
• VAT Preparation: Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Other Duties: Undertake any other specific duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Software Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software (Xero preferred) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting roles.
• Language Skills: Excellent English language skills (written and spoken); fluency in Tagalog is an added advantage.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
