Trustbend Packers & Movers is looking for a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team in Dubai. This role is vital to ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are met across all operations. Key Responsibilities:

• HSE Documentation & Procedures: Implement and maintain all necessary documentation and procedures, including the HSEMS system on-site.
• Risk Assessment & Prevention: Conduct thorough risk assessments and enforce preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.
• HSE Training & Toolbox Talks (TBTs): Initiate and organize safety training sessions and toolbox talks for pilots, employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Depot Safety Walkabouts: Perform regular safety walkabouts in the depot, stopping unsafe acts/conditions and reporting any anomalies.
• Accident Investigations: Investigate all accidents and near-miss incidents to determine causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Personnel Safety Inspections: Inspect work activities to identify safety issues or non-conformities.
• Safety Policies & Procedures: Establish and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
• Pilot Spot Checks: Conduct spot checks to ensure that pilots follow established SOPs.
• Site Safety Visits: Conduct site safety visits to monitor the safe delivery of products to clients.
• Emergency Response: Participate in emergency response drills and act as an emergency responder during real emergencies.
• Equipment Safety Checks: Verify that all tools and equipment are safe and adequate for use.
• Incident Action Plan Review: Review the Incident Action Plan to ensure safety implications are addressed.
• Subcontractor Safety Plan: Review and approve all subcontractor safety plans.
• Hazardous Waste Management: Coordinate the registration and disposal of hazardous waste through the Dubai Municipality (DM) portal.
• Training Needs Identification: Identify the training needs of pilots and employees and communicate these to the HSE Manager.
• Traffic & Asset Management: Ensure proper traffic control and asset management within the depot.
• Safety Equipment Inspections: Conduct routine checks on fire systems, spill kits, and other safety equipment in both the depot and trucks.
• Equipment Inspections: Inspect tools, ladders, and other safety-critical equipment regularly.
• Alcohol Testing: Conduct random alco-blow checks on pilots and report any irregularities.
• Additional HSE Duties: Assist with any other HSE-related tasks or projects assigned by the HSE Manager.

Skills/Competencies Required:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE with a focus on site operations and safety duties.
• HSE Documentation: Familiarity with HSEMS documentation and maintaining safety records.
• Site Health & Safety: Strong knowledge of site operation health and safety practices.
• Fire & First Aid Safety: Proficiency in fire safety and first aid.
• Audit & Compliance: Experience in conducting audits and compliance assessments.
• Qualifications: High-level certification in HSE, with additional qualifications in NEBOSH/IGC preferred.
